Course Description
NURS-1305   Adult Health - Acute Conditions/RN
This course focuses on reviewing nursing care of the adult experiencing acute changes in health status. The effects of sudden illness or injury on individuals and their significant others is explored. Through the use of exemplars of common acute alterations in health status, emphasis is placed on the use of nursing process and the role of the nurse in assisting clients and families engage in health promotion, prevention and management of acute alterations in health.

Class Availability

Beginning September 1, 2018: students enrolling in Online Education courses will be required to purchase textbooks and materials at participating Campus stores or online. To review booklists and purchase textbooks, please visit bookstore.rrc.ca.

Student booklists will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled course start dates. Please ensure materials are purchased in advance, to be available for the start date.
