Year 1 – Term 1

In term one, students take the following foundation courses:

  • Information Architecture
  • Introduction to DMD
  • Introduction to Animation
  • Video and Audio Production 1
  • Web Development 1
  • Communications
  • Basics of Form
  • Principles of Drawing
  • Weekly Guest Speaker Seminar
Year 1 – Term 2

In term two, students take the following courses:
  • Web Scripting
  • Animation 2
  • Web Usability
  • Video and Audio Production 2
  • Web Development 2
  • Communications 2
  • Graphic Design 1
  • History of Graphic Design
  • Principles of Drawing 2
Year 2 – Term 3

In term three, all students must take the following courses:
  • Studio Project
  • Photography
  • Graphic Design 2
  • Typography
  • Communications 3
In term three, students must choose one of the following electives:
  • Advanced Web Development 1
  • 3D Computer Graphics
  • Video and Motion Graphics
In term three, students must also choose one of the following electives:
  • 3D Artistry 1
  • Interactive Media 1
  • Video 1
In term three, students must also choose one of the following electives:
  • Audio Artistry
  • Introduction to Video Game Design
  • Web Development 3
Year 2 – Term 4

In term four, students must take the following courses:
  • Visual Exploration
  • Visual Techniques
  • Exit Portfolio
  • Freelance Business Management
  • DMD Work Placement
In term four, students must choose one of the following electives:
  • Advanced Web Development 2
  • Advanced 3D Computer Graphics
  • Advanced Video and Motion Graphics
In term four, students must also choose one of the following electives:
